Make your own Disinfectant/Sanitizers against viruses and bacteria

During extreme situations people often react even more extreme. Irrational and panicky in most cases. This is also the case during the SARS period and more recently during the coronavirus period.
People stop thinking in some situations and only react in panic. This leads to hamster purchase, which are neither necessary nor sensible. Or even worse, try to sell it for a lot of money on the Internet. Don’t let this put you off, and above all, don’t get caught up in the spiral of fear and panic.

Well, in many countries, including Asia, it’s generally advisable to use disinfectant/sanitizer. But of course, I ran out of disinfectant two days after the hamster purchases *eye roll*.

But I’m smart 😉 . And I have a solution for almost every problem:

Alternatively, you can use anti-mosquito wipes and add some essential oil (see below).

Or you can do it yourself, which is really easy. All you need to do is this:

  • 100 ml alcohol (as high-proof as possible – vodka works too)
  • 100 ml water
  • 20 drops of tea tree oil (citronella, lavender, thyme, cinnamon, clove or other antimicrobial essential oil)
  • You can also mix in some aloe vera gel to keep your skin from drying out.

Now you can mix everything and put it into a spray bottle and/or you can take a bag with pieces of an old t-shirt and soak the mixture with it.

Never drink/swallow and keep away from children!
