How we ended up in Singapore?

Good question.
It certainly has to do with the fact that we already have Asia experience from China and Indonesia. But I think my husband’s Danish company doesn’t care about my experience. All they need is my husband’s experience. Whatever. Since he is involved in the construction of offshore wind power and Taiwan has a strong agenda for renewables energy e.g. Offshore Wind.
Well, that doesn’t explain Singapore now.
Quite simply: Singapore has the larger shipyards.
Therefore, first for about two years to Singapore and then for a few years to Taiwan. That’s the plan.
Of Course, we knew Singapore from trips to Asia, but that was a long time ago. With the speed of changes, we feel a bit confused during our orientation trip. Familiar were the smells from a mixture of big city air, incense sticks and fragant food. Also trusts the friendliness and helpfulness of the people. It was a bit like coming home.
During my research I came across many great blog pages and YouTube videos. But unfortunately they only helped me to a limited extent. Fortunately, we don’t have to turn over every dollar. So if you like it, this page is the right place for you.

  1. Hi Stephanie, I really enjoy your blog, although I am having difficulty navigating through it. There have been places where I wanted to leave a comment, but was unable to do so. I love your “about” article. I can understand why your like to write. Some people have asked me to put all of my posts in a book form. But, if I were to do that, it would take time away from my writing of new articles. Primarily, I have used my blog as a journal for my children. But, I also try to use my blog as a tool for explaining the teachings of the Bible. I hope that we can learn more about each other. I find you to be a fascinating woman, I know that you are a blessing to your family. It is 1PM on the east coast of the USA. I would imagine that you are four hours ahead of me, with a time of about 5 PM. Please check with me from time to time.
